Letters of Intent now being accepted by
United Way of Sumner County

The United Way of Sumner County's condensed grant application—referred to as the LETTER OF INTENT— which is the first step in the funding process, is now available to agencies seeking funding for 2012.

All agencies that are not currently a United Way of Sumner County partner agency must complete this initial step in the process. Current partner agencies are exempt from completing this first step. The completed Letters of Intent are due back in the United Way Office at 1531 Hunt Club Blvd., Suite 110, Gallatin, TN 37066, no later than Friday, November 18, at 4:00 p.m.

Non-profits requesting funding for more than one program must complete a separate Letter of Intent for each program. The Letters of Intent are available by contacting Dana M. Given, President/CEO at 615-461-8371 or via email by clicking HERE . Or, you may click the link below, and print off the 3 page Letter of Intent directly.

The United Way of Sumner County has moved to an Outcomes Based funding model. If those seeking funding are not familiar with that concept, they should request additional resources and information from President Dana Given.

Any non-profit seeking funding must be tax exempt under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This status must have been in place for at least two years and the agency must have been in operation for two years as of July 1 of the funding year for which the agency is applying for allocations.

Questions should be directed to Dana Given at 615-461-8371 or via email
