United Way of Sumner County's 8th Annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive was one for the record books. The 2018 edition of Stuff the Bus provided 1,000 backpacks filled with supplies to students throughout the community before the start of the new school year.
United Way of Sumner County will allocate $664,701 to 32 partner non-profit health and human service programs serving Sumner County residents, the Middle Tennessee 2-1-1 helpline, non-partner agencies, and other United Ways from July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019.

More than 70 golfers braved a stiff breeze, overcast skies, and cold temperatures to benefit others during the Fifth Annual United Way of Sumner County Charity Golf Scramble on Monday, Nov. 13, at Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club in Hendersonville. Presented by ITW CIP and ITW Dynatec, this year's scramble raised more than $21,000 to benefit United Way of Sumner County programs and agencies.
United Way of Sumner County launched its 2017 fundraising campaign on Thursday Aug. 31, with a '70s themed kickoff party at the Hendersonville Library. Through the tremendous support we received from donors, volunteers, local businesses, and individuals across the county, this year's Stuff the Bus was the most successful ever. Approximately 75 volunteers stuffed 800 backpacks that will help local students start school with the tools they need to learn.

United Way of Sumner County's 2017 Boots & Bling gala and auction took place on Saturday, March 4, at Bagsby Ranch in Gallatin. It was one of the most successful events ever for United Way of Sumner County, and based on the feedback we received at the event, the night lived up to its billing as a memorable night of boot-scootin' fun and fundraising.
