Our Affiliations

United Way of Sumner County is a member of the United Ways of Tennessee.  United Ways of Tennessee provides member support services to 39 local United Ways across the state.  United Ways of Tennessee also serves as the liaison between these local United Ways and the Tennessee Employees Combined Campaign ("TECC") and the Tennessee Board of Regents ("TBR") annual workplace campaign.  For more information on United Ways of Tennessee, click here.

In addition to its state membership, United Way of Sumner County is affiliated with the United Way of America.  United Way of America is a national network of over 1,300 local United Ways across the United States.  United Way of America oversees the partnership with the National Football League, manages corporate workplace campaigns for major US corporations (called "National Corporate Leadership" accounts), and interfaces with organized labor.  It also provides local United Ways with membership support services, training opportunties for local staff, compliance assistance, and marketing and communications guidance and support materials.  Finally, it has provided the overall focus for local United Ways on Education, Income, and Health through its "Goals for the Common Good: The United Way Challenge to America."  To learn about these goals, click here.  For more information on United Way of America, please click here.
