Want to Volunteer?

Here are some of the opportunities that United Way of Sumner County has during the year: 


♦  Allocations Panels: community volunteers who work together to distribute United Way funds, raised in campaign, to applying agencies.


♦  Campaign Coordinators: individuals who manage, with United Way staff guidance, their employer's annual United Way campaign.


♦ United Way Committees: Audit/Finance, Budget Review, Campaign Cabinet, Executive Allocations, Leadership, Marketing/Communications, Nominating, Special Events, Special Gifts, and Strategic Planning (Individuals serving on a committee meet on a regular basis to address their assigned responsibilities and any special projects).


♦  Loaned Executives: these individuals serve as United Way representatives at workplace campaign meetings; typically, the individual is self-employed or has the support of his/her employer for the time off to attend United Way campaign meetings.


♦  Days of Caring: individuals and groups who wish to participate in community service projects at United Way partner agencies each Spring.
