October 29, 2018 - Gallatin, Tenn. - Beautiful weather and a new venue greeted 92 golfers who made history on Monday, Oct. 29, at the sixth-annual United Way of Sumner County Fall Classic charity golf scramble.
Held at the Foxland course of Tennessee Grasslands in Gallatin, the Fall Classic raised more than $21,750 for the programs and agencies of United Way of Sumner County, easily surpassing the record-setting $20,750 raised at the 2017 edition of the event.
The day began with an 11 a.m. lunch of barbecue, potato salad, and baked beans, followed by a noon shotgun start. At the conclusion of play, participants were treated to desserts and a special bourbon tasting while waiting for the tabulation and announcement of the day’s winners.
Thank you to all of our sponsors, donors, partners, and participants for making the day an outstanding success. (See the list of sponsors and partners at the end of this photo album.)
