Thanks to everyone who participated in our 2022 Mom & Baby Care Drive which ran from April 1 – April 30. We collected 7,752 diapers, 111 boxes of wipes, and almost 1,000 personal care items valued at over $5,800 in donations which were distributed to 11 United Way Agencies who serve moms & babies. They included Cumberland Crisis Pregnancy Center, Nurses for Newborns, Gallatin Daycare, Community Childcare, Grace Place, Salvus Center, HomeSafe, CASA, Portland CARES, Gallatin CARES, and Westmoreland Food Bank/Amazing Grace Mission.
We are very grateful for the support of the 11 companies who served as public drop-off locations and the 3 organizations (Aladdin, Servpro, and Ben Alexander’s Sunday School Class at First United Methodist in Hendersonville) who conducted internal collection campaigns, as well as everyone who donated and/or volunteered to assist with this important community drive!
