At United Way of Sumner County, strong leadership is key to our ability to drive lasting change in our community. During our annual Board of Directors meeting held in June, we approved new leadership roles and celebrated the dedication of those who have helped guide our work.
As of July 1, 2025, Kelley Crecelius will begin a two-year term as Board Chair, following her service as Vice Chair this past year. Len Silverman, who has provided thoughtful leadership as Board Chair for the past two years, will continue to serve on the Executive Committee as Immediate Past Chair.
Jordan Woodruff has been elected to serve as Vice Chair for a two-year term.
This year, we also bid a warm farewell to two valued members, Clayton Hannah and Susannah Wood, who each completed their first term of board service. We’re grateful for their time, insight, and commitment to building a stronger Sumner County.
We’re also excited to welcome Sherri Ferguson to the Board of Directors. Her appointment is effective July 1, and we look forward to the perspective and experience she brings to the table.
With these changes, our Board will include 17 dedicated members serving during Fiscal Year 2026. Each one plays a vital role in shaping our direction and deepening our impact across the community.
United is the Way™ forward—with the guidance of passionate leaders and a commitment to service that moves us all.
