United Way of Sumner County is looking for some enthusiastic, hard-working students interested in earning hours through volunteering or working in our internship program during the 2023-24 school year.

Our Internship Program can offer up to 10 hours per week during business hours. Interns must be a current high school junior or senior, or a college student. This is an unpaid internship.  Internships include tasks relating to event planning, data entry, non-profit management, office/clerical, and other tasks.

We also have volunteer opportunities available for students who need to complete volunteer service hours.  Youth volunteers must be at least 16 or have a guardian with them during volunteer work.  Volunteer opportunities include helping to count, sort, and/or document donations from our Winter Care Drive, United We Feed Drive, and/or Mom & Baby Care Drive.  Additional tasks may include office/clerical or other projects as needed.

Students interested in volunteering may contact Toni Dew at toni@unitedwaysumner.org.  Students interested in applying for an internship should email a resume to toni@unitedwaysumner.org.  To learn more, call United Way of Sumner County at 615-461-8371.
