United Way of Sumner County is thrilled to announce that because of the generosity of our donors and supporters, there will an impact to the greater community of almost $597,000 for the 2025-2026 grant year with over $531,000 going to our partner agencies!

After undergoing surgery last fall, one Westmoreland Senior Center member faced ongoing health challenges that made it difficult to leave home. For months, she only visited the Center occasionally, as her strength allowed.
Together, We Showed Up for Sumner County Moms & Babies!
Thanks to the generosity of our community, the 2025 United Way of Sumner County Mom & Baby Care Drive collected 964 essential items—including diapers, pull-ups, wipes, feminine care products, and personal hygiene items—valued at more than $3,200! These donations will soon be in the hands of local families who need them most.
Small Business, Big Impact
"This is the most broken kid we've ever seen," was the statement give to Ashley's Place from the center that does forensic medical exams for minors of sexual assault.
By the time the teen entered Ashley's Place, she had spent two weeks not bathing, hardly eating, not leaving her home because of her anxiety. Her assault triggered a cascade of symptoms related to post traumatic stress disorder. In the early months of therapy she changed schools in an attempt to start over, but her depression lead her to using drugs in an attempt to numb her emotions.
